  You too can be a senior , veteran Mexican American treated like you're not a human being ,
  Not world class not high class not low class just a bunch of hicks
  Latinos, Soul Brothers Soul Sisters and LGBT community members should avoid this place

  I want this property to do better. You can tell the staff mean well, but checking in and out is such a laborious process. I've come here multiple times in the summer and the front desk are so unorganized that it's feels like their first day on the job. The check-in process is extremely outdated, and they still do most things on paper. The room probably won't be ready when you arrive at 3pm to check-in and the process might take up to 45 minutes to get your key. Sometimes, your room hasn't been cleaned up until that point. I've waited as late as 4:45pm for my room to be cleaned.
  
  Once in the room, it's nice with a waterfront view looking out at sunset. Rooms are clean, but could use a bit of a refresh in the next couple of years. The pool is a nice amenity for kids, the gym is decent but why be in a gym when you're on a beautiful island with great hikes, running, and biking to do.
  
  Breakfast at the Resort is much like the check in process. It takes long, they're disorganized and the food is good but typical greasy spoon fare. You might consider heading to the village for breakfast.
